Supporting local artists in Vancouver enriches the community and fosters creativity. Here are some meaningful ways to support our local artists to ensure that our creative community continues to thrive.
By attending art shows and festivals, you will enjoy diverse artistic expressions and support artists. Whether it’s a painting, sculpture, or handmade jewelry, buying local art helps artists to sustain their practice.
The Art Party has been involved in Web 3.0 since 2013, starting with the first VR metaverse art gallery in Virtual Vancouver and the first Bitcoin (crypto) tradeshow in Canada called Coinfest 2014, where no fiat currencies were involved. This grassroots Bitcoin event, held at an 8,000 media hall, included speakers, trade booths, and the CoinFest Art Show.
WHY SUPPORT THE ART PARTY?
PURPOSE: The Art Party began as a Facebook Group to promote The Drift – Art on Main Street in 2010, with local businesses supporting local visual and music artists on Main Street. Together, we have evolved into a global community of Creatives & Changemakers.
MISSION: The Art Party provides services to build and connect our communities with social networking, as well as audience-building for arts cultural events and skills training.
VISION: Our vision is to build and connect a community of Creatives & Changemakers who endorse Earth Charter® principles for a just, sustainable, and peaceful planet.
HOW THE ART PARTY SUPPORTS LOCAL VENUES

As a Google Local Guide Level 7, our photos and videos have garnered 25+ million views on Google Maps in 2025, helping to promote local venues and their unique food, art, and music experiences. We take photos for Google Maps to help drive more views for local venues in Vancouver. We support Golden Brush Art with volunteers and social media promotions.
The Art Party supports Influential Brand Ambassadors with event staff. Learn more about brand ambassadors. The Art Party Facebook Page has over 1,700 local fans, and The Art Party Facebook Group has 3,200 members to promote events for brands.
