This cause is very important to us because local musicians and artists have not been able to perform and exhibit at live events much since health restrictions began in March 2020. Numerous venues are no longer in business or booking live music and art events.

These closures have impacted local musicians and artists from making an income with our talent. Also, with the spiraling costs due to economic factors such as inflation, musical artists are keen to keep shows local in public spaces that allow for the assembly of people to engage in celebration.

The pandemic hit our music industry hard, with live performance revenue the biggest casualty. So now, artists are going direct to fans from our studios with live streaming and producing live shows at “Music in the Park”.

Join us for Music in the Park so we can meet, talk, and organize actions about this.

Bring your fold-out chairs, dancing shoes, and get ready for an afternoon of live acoustic music from local music talent and our lovely soap artist.
