Collaborations With IMPACT Festival

The Art Party is volunteering for IMPACT Festival events from July 16 to 20, 2021. These events are live stream to 3D Virtual World with over 10 million active users and Zoom, a video and web conferencing platform. The Art Party has grown an audience of +10,000 social media contacts with +1000 Mailchimp contacts for workshops and events.

The Art Party is volunteering with IMPACT Festival for online events with DJs and live paintings, along with break out rooms for live workshops using Zoom.

For IMPACT Festivals in 2020, The Art Party is donating Google Ad Grants for newsletter promotions in 2020. The Art Party is also providing support for Zoom workshops with Zoom moderators during the virtual festivals and also in-between to promote the workshop trainers.

There are multiple causes for IMPACT Festivals in 2020, including the Artist Relief Impact Fund to support artists who perform at Impact Festival and its associated streams. 100% of this fund will be given to participating artists, divided fairly by the fraction of viewers of each artist’s stream. IMPACT Festival is also supplementing through grand stand sponsorship.

IMPACT Festival in 2019 had over 1,000 live attendees and raised over $40,000 for charities. For 2020, IMPACT Festival will be virtual with the goal of over 100,000 and up to 1 million virtual attendees on Twitch.TV and up to 1,000 participants on Zoom to raise online cash donations. http://www.impactfestival.ca/

Why Join A Virtual Festival?

Burning Man will be virtual this year and take place in the multiverse because of the ongoing threat of COVID-19. It usually brings in crowds of over 80,000 to Black Rock, Nevada, but in 2020 it will take place online. It’s not just Burning Man, but all summer festivals are banned in 2020; all governments in Canada and the USA have placed a ban on all large gatherings to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These summer festivals typically feature live music, art, alternative workshops, food vendors and more. https://burningman.org

There is a need for community building and social engagement, even with social distancing laws. The virtual charity festivals will take place entirely online. Similar to live in-person workshops at festivals, virtual workshops at a virtual festival could have break-out rooms with art-making, vegan / veg cooking demos, yoga, and skillshare workshops.

The Art Party is focused on vegan / veg cooking demos for the Zoom workshops as this is a good fit with the IMPACT Festival audience who is looking to reduce their carbon footprint with a more plant-based diet. There is also a surge in online vegan / veg cooking classes since COVID-19 outbreak, with millions of cooking related searches on Google. The current and other previous pandemics are zoonotic (disease transmission from animals to humans). We will require at least 2 volunteer moderators to help up to 1,000 participants during Zoom breakout sessions to view and send video, screen share, annotate and security. https://zoom.us

We provide services that build and connect our communities with social networking, as well as space for arts cultural events and skills training for Creatives & Changemakers. The Art Party is an endorser of Earth Charter® principles for a just, sustainable and peaceful planet. Earth Charter as an ethical framework for building a just, sustainable, and peaceful global society in the 21st century. It seeks to inspire in all people a new sense of global interdependence and shared responsibility for the well-being of the whole human family, the greater community of life, and future generations. It is a vision of hope and a call to action.

IMPACT Festival is a non-profit festival with the purpose of empowering our attendees to make a positive impact on the world. IMPACT Festival is more than just a music event, it is a cultural movement that strives to create a more sustainable music festival, while pushing the boundaries of music, arts and harm reduction. IMPACT started in 2019 with bringing in over 80 musical acts and various art installations and workshops. Yoga Therapy International (YTI) has been a Registered Yoga School (RYT 200 & 500) with Yoga Alliance in Therapeutic Yoga since 2009 and recently became one of the first Accredited Programs in the world with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). Maggie Reagh, the Founding Director, has been practicing Yoga Therapy for 12 years and teaching Therapeutic Yoga for 15 years. She has trained 9 Therapeutic Yoga Teachers and 6 Yoga Therapists since starting her training program in 2009.

A vegan since childhood, Happy will talk about vegan cooking, time management and how plant-based protein is a solution for our current pandemic crisis affecting our global food supply chain.

The Art Party Promotions

In addition to Google Ad Grants (up to $10,000 / month in-kind sponsorship), The Art Party will promote IMPACT Festivals on Facebook. The Art Party Community Facebook Group represents a diverse group of artists, creatives and changemakers across races, genders and ages in Metro Vancouver. We can also invite a maximum of 500 friends on each account for a total of 1000 to a Facebook Event.
